HomeSTAR Grant for Employers

Employers can provide the HomeSTAR Grant to their employees for added benefits and perks.

HomeSTAR is perfect for companies and organizations to provide their employees with a way to save thousands when buying or selling real estate.

There is no cost for a company to enroll and help you and your co-workers save thousands.

The HomeStar Grant can participate with local employers.  Ways that they can be involved, are:

  • A full or partial company match of the HomeStar Grant where the employer’s portion can be applied towards your down payment
  • Education – we can provide home buyer, credit and other financial literacy classes in the workplace
  • Education – the employer can communicate our list of available classes outside of the workplace each month to their employees

There is a growing acceptance among employers who agree that providing financial wellness programs as part of a benefits package supports their important business goals. The programs naturally help to sustain employees, and benefit employers because employees are less stressed about money worries and less likely to need time away from work to cope with financial matters.

The reason we’ve gone down this path is we feel that employers can offer solutions around retirement, homeownership, budgeting and many other financial topics.  The ‘how’ also matters greatly because at the end of the day, we’re talking about how do we get create change and bring value to the employees of a company.

We believe employers have a large opportunity to help their most valuable assets – employees!
